Tank Saturday: Armageddon is a Scout Appreciation Event! All youth and leaders from Scouts Canada and other scouting organizations receive free admission! Please select your tickets according to your age group(s) and enter the code "SCOUTS" in the "Coupon Code" field beneath the ticket menu to receive your discount. This discount applies to admission tickets only.

Schedule of Activities:

  • 10:00 AM: Gates Open
  • Armoured Vehicle Rides Available at Additional Cost:
  • 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM: Vehicle Rides: Leopard 1A5 Main Battle Tank (Must be purchased beforehand), M113 APC, M548 "Battle Bus"
  • 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: LIVE VEHICLE SHOW: Armoured Fighting Vehicles plus a Tank on Tank battle
  • 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Vehicle Rides: M548 "Battle Bus" and M113 APC
  • 4:00 PM: Museum Closes

The following items may not be brought by visitors into the Canadian Tank Museum (herein referred to as “the Museum”):

  • Political or extremist clothing, iconography, flags, or badges
  • Alcohol, cannabis products, and illicit drugs, except as prescribed by a registered physician or other certified medical professional
  • Glass containers
  • Pets, except for recognized service animals
  • Weapons and ammunition*
  • Fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, detonators, or explosives*
  • Military or other combat or law enforcement costumes and uniforms*

*Unless previously approved by Museum management or for serving Canadian Armed Forces personnel or official emergency services workers.

Tank Saturdays are public events and by attending, you understand that your likeness and image may be photographed, videoed, or otherwise recorded by museum personnel or any other people or recording devices present. All media created and captured by museum personnel is the copyright and property of the Museum and may be used in exhibits, on social media, in marketing materials, or in other publications without giving prior notice or seeking consent from the persons portrayed in that media content. The Museum is not responsible for any media portrayals of your likeness and image and any results from those portrayals, regardless of whether the museum or a third party generated those portrayals. In purchasing your tickets and attending the event, you agree to these terms and conditions.

The Museum: 

  • undertakes all reasonable actions to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers, and visitors.  By entering this event, you agree that you assume all risks of injury and loss or damage to personal property and you agree to indemnify and hold the directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, assigns, legal representatives, and successors of the Museum harmless from any damages, liability and expenses resulting from attending this event.
  • reserves the right to use any media content captured at any event by or at the Museum without the express permission of those included within that media.
  • notes that this is a public event and by attending you understand that your likeness and image may be recorded by other visitors, journalists, content creators, or by the Museum itself.
  • may use the media content captured in publications or other media material produced, used, or contracted by the Museum including but not limited to brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, videos, promotion materials, and websites.

If riding on armoured vehicles:

  • The Museum undertakes all reasonable actions to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers, and visitors including driver safety training and trained safety staff. There are risks inherent with armoured vehicle rides, including but not limited to falling and impacts from sudden starts, turns, and stops.
  • Please do not ride these vehicles if you are pregnant, have limited mobility, or are incapable or uncomfortable to stay standing in a moving and erratic vehicle.
  • You attend this ride at your own risk. The Museum maintains the right to refuse to board a guest at their sole discretion for safety reasons, including but not limited to: babies in arms, toddlers, persons with limited ability to independently board and dismount the vehicle, and persons who cannot follow the direction of the Museum staff.
  • Follow all directions from ride staff for a safe and exciting experience.
